Freedom To Create
When we are talking about vision boards, I just want you to know that you have the freedom to create one big board that encompasses all of your dreams or you can choose to create several smaller vision boards, each one representing a specific goal or dream. The choice is yours.
here is one of my vision boards to give you some inspiration.
Make Your Own Vision Board - The Cut and Paste Way
Choose your board: First you need to choose the type of board you will be using. It could be a cork board, poster board, or even a magnetic board. Your choice!Gather your tools: If you are using a cork board you will need push pins to secure your pictures, if you are using a magnetic board you will need small plain magnets to secure your pics, If you are using poster board you will need either tape or glue for attaching pics. Don’t forget the scissors!
Gather some photos: You can find these photos online and print them out or you can use some of your own personal photos or you could just cut some out from old magazines. You could also combine pictures from different sources. The choice is yours. Just be sure the photos represent that which you truly want.
Add some quotes, affirmations, or words of encouragement: You can add some quotes or your favorite sayings to your vision board as well. You could cut out monetary amounts or a number that represents your goal weight or choose a favorite affirmation. Use words that motivate you or resinate with you in some way. This is your vision board, go crazy!!!
Putting it together: Now that you have all your pictures and or quotes you want to create your vision board it is time to put it all together. If you need to glue, start gluing, if you need to start pinning then do it. Arrange your photos and other things you have collected for your vision board anyway you wish.
Hanging it up: Now that you have finished your vision board, it is important to put it somewhere you will see it often. Put it where you will see it everyday. It is preferred to put it somewhere you will see it several times a day. Put it in your bedroom, the bathroom, the kitchen, in your office. Again this is your vision board you decide the best place for it.
Make your own vision board - the digital way
Some of you may prefer a digital vision board when you make your own vision board as apposed to one that you cut and paste onto a poster board. That is fine. This is your vision board. Do what works best for you.
If you want to create a digital board you have a couple different options. Using different software that is available on the net or using different software you may already have available to you. You can create a vision board in several ways.
You may choose to use the collage maker available on your photo program, you could make a slide show using a free slideshow maker software you can download off the internet like Flash slideshow maker, the program I us to make some of my vision boards.
You could visit a websites that offer digital vision boards like the vision board site, a site dedicated solely to the online creation of vision boards.
The benefit of using a site that offers digital vision boards is that they have plenty of pictures and quotes readily available to their users. The only thing is you will pay a monthly fee for using the service. Though for some, it is well worth it.
Another digital option would be to purchase an all inclusive digital vision board program. It is then a one time purchase for a program you can use over and over again. The best one I have found is the the one made by vision board studios. You can see if its for you by clicking on image to the right.
Once you have created your digital board, you can make it your screen saver on your computer or you could even put it in a digital picture frame. If you spend a lot of time on your computer then the screen saver is a great idea.
The digital picture frame however is more mobile and you could place it in any room of the house or office so that you could see it often. This might be a good idea for those of you who do not spend a lot of time on the computer.
I hope after reading this page you go out and make your own vision board. It really does work, I promise.
