It's Never Too Late

George Eliot once stated "It is never too late to be what you might have been." And I never really believed that until after I was laid off three years ago. I always had a bigger dream that was outside of office administration and I allowed others to convince me that a steady job was better than a life of callbacks and production schedules. Well, after I was laid off, I refused to believe in the limited thinking of others and began to live the life that I had visualized and imagined. Change your thoughts, change your life... well, I can say for a fact that this is true because the more I changed what I believed about the limitations of my life, the less it mattered that I'd wasted 15 years in corporate america or that I was older than the people breaking into my field. It is never too late to be what I might have been; and I am enjoying every new day of my journey.
