The importance of visualization lies in your unlocked potential. Understanding and implementing creative visualization can help you live the life you want.
Visualization is seeing something in your mind's eye. Some people can relate it to daydreaming others can relate it to meditation. However you want to see this process is up to you. The important thing is that you use it.
Many of us already use creative visualization and are not aware that that is what it is we are doing. Have you ever imagined what it would be like if you were robbed at gun point, what your response would be? On the flip side, have you ever fantasized about winning the lottery and what your response would be to that. Well, that is visualization.
There are many athletes that use this method to improve their game. Michael Jordan used this technique to win game after game during his extraordinary basketball career. He visualized not only the games, but he also visualized winning. The good news for you is that you can use this same visualization technique to experience the things you want as well.
There was a study done a while back with Olympic runners and visualization. There were two groups. Those that practiced for a set number of hours a day and those that with the same set number of hours split there time between practicing and visualizing themselves running.
The results: Those runners that practiced without visualization showed little improvement on their times where those that mixed creative visualization in with their training showed great improvements over their previous times.
I could go on and on about the many people who have used this technique to improve there lives and bring into it what they wanted most, but I won’t, because the only thing that is important is how it will effect your life and how you can use it to create what you want out of life.
