Grateful for what I have

The number "1" thing that I am grateful for is that I didn't get what I deserved. As many times as I drove drunk, with kids in the car and did drug deals that I didn't get busted for, I should be locked up in prison for the rest of my life or in the cemetery.
16 years in recovery from alcohol and drugs
2 sons, both are in recovery
2 grandsons and 1 grandaughter
Belief in a Power greater than myself
My health: 10 fingers, 10 toes, arms, legs,
My 6 senses: Sight, taste, touch, hearing, smell, and ESP
All my hundreds of "material" toys

This is only a sample of my list. I could go on and on.

I am doing a class on "Gratitude" this week in the prison I work in.
